I have a question - how is it that Dryballs' looks impact on the porting of the engine? Does this always hold true? Can good looking people really get away with more extreme porting?

I though the DVD was really helpful - something about seeing it done was more effective for me than just reading Sticky's book alone. You still need Sticky's though to consult when you're actually in the work shop...

I've got close to that set up. 200 stage 4 (actual - JB tuned), 30 mm Mikuni, matched manifold, 60 mm crank. The 200 kit from JB was surprisingly reasonable.

Would people recommend a 42 or 48 mm clubman (looking to replace the one that's on it)?

If thats right then this is about the quality of Asian parts and whether they are safe to use or not.
I realise it's an irrelevant side point, but Japan is generally considered to be part of South East Asia...

Yeah, I've got one of the SLJ ones. Hadn't ridden the scooter without it, but understand they're almost a must with bigger carbs. It is certainly a good bit of kit - essentially they just have a different profile to the normal throttle cog. I think they're graduated to an extent, so the difference i...
