Re: BGB stator output too low.

Again a good old Indian flywheel saves the day !!! SIL flywheels still my first choice ( welded and lightened) Welded? To strengthen the center boss? Is it common for them to come loose? And dumb question, can old points flywheels be used for electronic ignition? I have kicking around here. Sent fr...

Found a phbl sized foam filter for restricted room

It's for a Briggs and Stratton lawn mower. I have no idea if you can get in the UK, I got it for 20$ on Amazon. Fits snug over the 39mm opening and perfectly under the panel. I did not have to adjust my jetting to my great surprise. Part # on package. DD https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190804/e60...

Re: BGB stator output too low.

Hi, lights were on. But I put on an old Indian flywheel and lights were great. So cheers to the person who guessed weak magnets. I'll send SIP a note as that is a product fail.

Tonight I'll shim the pickup to match this flywheel and be done with it.

Tx again

Re: BGB stator output too low.

weak magnets would cause that. Ac or DC? I pulled the flywheel. It's a bgm with the solid magnet all the way around. It would hold a 19mm spanner hung from one end. But if I compare it to the scooters original SX taper flywheel, those magnets are much stronger. I don't have another bgm fly wheel to...

BGB stator output too low.

I've got a v1 bgm stator and matching flywheel on a jet200. My headlight is way too dim. I measured out put from stator to regulator and it is 6-7v at 1200 rpm and 10-11v when I'm revving it. Bike starts and rides great. I thought it should be more like 14v. What would cause this? One or more could ...

Re: What sparkplug do you use with your GT kit?

I asked as the installation instructions call for a b7es, which I always thought was too hot.
