i had the same problem with my TS1, long range tank, LTH manifold and TMX 35 carb, in the end I took my tank to a local garage and had them remove and make the carb cut out deeper.

thank you, why is it never easy, they sell you something with no instructions, brilliant, also got one of those beluga timing tools, you guessed it, no instructions.

I have just got one of those SIP front hub driven speed sensors, first problem is that the knurled nut is to big for my PM tuning front hub, I've got over that hurdle, next problem is how do I set it up, I got instructions for standard cable and I've set my other scooter with the magnet type,

thanks for your reply, I hope not, I run all my cables and loom through the frame, but I will pull the speedo wiring out at the weekend, great.

cheers for the reply, I tried that I even changed the plug cap, I have a spare SIP speedo in the shed (don't ask) so thought I'd try swapping the power box, only one of the connectors is the same so I couldn't use it, I'm wondering if its my BGM rectifer not working properly. back in the shed at the...

help. my SIP speedo has been working fine for about a year now, last week it started playing up, after about less then half a mile the rev counter starts very slowly moving to max and the speed says 124mph,the button during this episode does'nt work, I'm using a BGM stator and rectifier, as I say it...

make sure you fit S2 cones, S3 stick out to far, S2 don't have a chamfered edge.
