Re: PM Tuning headlamp?

Re: PM Tuning headlamp?

I've just bought one of these. Does anyone know if it can cope with the Readspeed zenon bulb without melting or discolouring or if not, what wattage of halogen bulb it can cope with. I tried ringing PM but they didn't pick up the phone.

Re: Miles Per Gallon from your Scooter?

I'm running a Rapido 225 classic with the following set up;
26mm PHBH with remote air filter,PM25 exhaust,PM Tuning X-Tech 58mm Crankshaft and SX200 gearing.
It only produces 14 BHP at the rear wheel, but cruises nicely at 55-65 MPH (GPS) and averages 60 MPG. :D

Re: Balls, how big?

Using loose bearings is an old racing trick and does improve the steering action. It's tricky to keep the bearings in place when you install them without a cage, however thick grease will help hold them in place. I'd use the bearings out of a couple of head races. I can't remember the actual number ...

Re: What black..

Why does anyone bother when you can have these nice people do it for you http://www.riminilambrettacentre.com/Restoration.aspx Probably because you'd need to be a lottery winner to afford it! :lol: Or move in tims circle ;) After having a quick look at his SX on the LLC website, I see your point! ;)

Re: Any tips on fitting a Scooter Innovation single disc bra

It was a simple job. You just have to use the supplied washers to get the wheel central in the forks. PM kindly supplied longer bolts for attaching my AFR tubeless rims, but the existing bolts were long enough (I think you'd need them for SIP rims). Also my SIP speedo didn't need to be re calibrated...

Any tips on fitting a Scooter Innovation single disc brake?

I'm just about to fit a Scooter Innovation single disc brake (PM 9607) to my GP200, and wondered if anyone had any advice or tips on how to do it. The instructions aren't that detailed (no pictures!). So if anyone can help it would be really appreciated. Any advice on how to set it up with a SIP Spe...
