Re: Shortest PHBH Carb Manifold?

Just for reference I had the Mugello manifold machined down for £20 at a local engineering firm, chap turned it around in a day for me. I had to lengthen and tweak the fuel tap rod to go behind the carb but I've now got a breath sweet filter that is not crushed by the side panel and I'm much happie...

Re: Mugello 186 piston shims

Might be worth buying a wider small end bearing assuming your crank is shimmed, Cambridge lambretta have them in stock I think :-)

Re: Shortest PHBH Carb Manifold?

Thanks for all the advice guys :-) I did think about having my mugello manifold machined down but I don't want to be without the use of the lammy for a few days, my mate who does little jobs like that for me is great but can't be rushed! I'm going to give the mb or Readspeed manifold a try I think.....

Re: muggy carb help

Hello, I can only help by telling you what I'm using with the same carb and V4 mugello 200 cylinder, I've used an Ancilloti exhaust but now have a Gori and forget my earlier settings, shouldn't be two far off though :-) I think your slide may be a bit lean to compensate for an over rich atomiser and...

Shortest PHBH Carb Manifold?

Any suggestions as to the shortest reach PHBH Carb manifold for a piston port engine? I've used the Mugello manifold on my last two engines and am looking for something as short as possible to give me more carb/pannel clearence for the filter, the MB downdraft one is an obvious choice and looks to g...

Re: MB Race Tour cylinder kit opinions

I'll consider myself lucky.....

Are you expecting to bolt a on a new kit and its inlet, exhaust and transfers to match perfectly with your manifold, exhaust and engine case?

Good luck to you :-)

I'll add that the kits you mention above are both great IMHO
