Re: FREE re-print of Scootering Magaizine......

Sorry but I think this is a waste of time and paper.

The one from 1997 that came the other day was printed on poor quality paper and the text was unreadable in places.

It's gone in the paper recycling.

Daft idea.

Re: Sand blast cabinets??

I used to sandblast scooters for a while as a small business. I packed it in as I was working from home and it was taking too long to do. It was also mind numbingly boring. You want a compressor that is 12 cfm or more otherwise it takes ages. I've still got the small cabinet I used. It came from fro...

Re: 49T indian Crown wheel with hardened center.

Try AF rayspeed. I know they had some very odd rear sprockets made. A friend of mine bought some for a possible sidecar outfit he was making. This was a good while ago though.

Re: bgm/mb clubman exhaust

Early cases (e.g. TV200) do not have the additional mounting lug cast into the casing. As the TV200 had a habit of vibrating the silencer to bits, Innocenti put another lower mounting position on to better brace the box and to stop them from having exhaust issues. This issue is covered in just abou...

Re: old li150 short barrel

The ports are tiny so need a lot of work.
You can do an easy 190 with a TS185 piston but the piston skirt may need shortening.

Re: Snapped crank

It's not the worst damaged casing I've seen but it's a fiddly repair. It needs building up with weld then the crankcase mouth and gasket face need sorting.
The cylinder could be repaired with a steel liner.
