I spent the afternoon with my mate Pat at Saigon Scooter Centre. The new battery powered electronic bike is really impressive. Here’s a few pics. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181229/620638bb374116b7a239e457c30cd2bc.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181229/35950e89533dfe0c0c523bf3076e5499....

Re: Registering a Lambretta
"EEC certificate of conformity" is the Type Approval box on the V55/5 & you should enter EXEMPT in this section. There is no consistency with the DVLA these days. In my experience I've had the wrong information told to me over the phone on their helpline & an application refused du...

Back to scoots
Hi, after 10 years in Vietnam I returned to the UK 4 years ago along with my trusty LiSpecial. Within a year I’d sold it & have missed Scootering ever since. Last December I bought this Li2 direct from the owner in Turin. It needs an MOT and registering but it runs and is in extremely tidy origi...

Re: exhaust Wrap...
When you say 'moved house', you meant mansion right? Ha ha...the good thing about big houses is that you can keep your bike inside. A necessity over here as it's a nation of thieving scum, still I think it makes a nice ornament under the stairs...LOL One thing is that when you fit the wrap ...

Re: exhaust Wrap...
As promised a few photos. Looks like I've caught it whilst on the road so it's split it a bit. Going to re wrap over the top with the rest of the roll that's left. http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r22/markbroo/P1070759.jpg http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r22/markbroo/P1070760.jpg http://i140.ph...

Re: exhaust Wrap...
I wrapped my NK race on my RB20 mainly to get the noise down but also for the looks. It's almost halved the exhaust note and gives it a kind of deep muffled sound. I found the stainless ties provided were not very good so I secured it with stainless jubilee clips. This is what I used but I manged t...
