Re: I have the frame number. Can I find the registration number?

Thanks for all the suggestions and comments. I'm pretty sure it has been UK registered at some stage rather than be an import. I'll try to call DVLA and see if they can clarify if it is UK registered and how it can be re-united with it's registration number. I think I remember that the police can ma...

I have the frame number. Can I find the registration number?

Planning to start working on a V100 that I picked up a while ago. It's almost complete and it has a clear frame number that shows up as a 1981 100 Sport but I have no paperwork and have no idea about the registration number. Had a look on the DVLA site but can't find an answer. Has anybody done this...

Re: Paint strip petseal

I've tried cleaning the inside of a standard rusty tank with paint stripper, nuts and bolts and a whole lot of shaking. Although I managed to remove a fair bit of rust, flakes and gunk, I ended up having to buy another tank and seal that. Seemed to be a false economy to try to sort the old tank out ...

Re: Your First scooter /first car ?

First scooter was a bright orange 150 Super (GWO 78N) bought for 40 quid of a fireman who lived in the middle of nowhere. Was probably late 1979. Took me about two hours to get there on various buses and I then realised I hadn't taken a helmet. Not wanting the hassle of more long bus rides, and bein...

Re: EU, in or out?

And what exactly have Le Pen or Trump got to do with the Brexit campaign? All this anyone voting out is a bigoted little Englander is getting a bit tedious now. I didn't mention bigoted. I did mention Trump and Le Pen as, as far as I can see, they are the only politicians outside the UK who are in ...

Re: EU, in or out?

The point I was making is that the vast majority of informed opinion (be it politicians, financiers, business people) are of the opinion that remaining is better for the country. The opinion of former pop stars and minor tv celebrities is irrelevant. The list of idiots that I stated show the calibre...

Re: EU, in or out?

Cam Moron; Osborne; Izzard; Geldoff; Brand...........you really couldn't make it up could you? Unfortunately people seem to agree with them. Very sad indeed. I'll raise you with Johnson, Patel, Grayling, Le Pen, Trump and the BNP. There's as dinner party you wouldn't want to go to (or perhaps you w...

Re: WARNING Major update

Maybe Willenhall were aware of this thread or maybe it's just a coincidence. Either way, a pretty reasonable solution.
