Not in my experience mate-i used to run a Readspeed 210 on a p2 carb and thing was a rocket! A well set up 210 even on a standard carb is more than enough for a road scoot

Hi guys,been looking at the grand sport rings for the dr piston..heard you can use them on the dr piston instead of the dr rings to cope with higher revs etc-but surely they are still 2mm thick to fit the grooves in the dr piston so its kinda defeating the object? Or are they better quality rings? H...

I might be wrong but didn't they do their R + D on two engine's with bhp in the mid 20's?

Not yet Oz-was hoping someone on here could advise me,its still in the planning stage,done some research but yet to find a rod of that length with a 16 mm small end..
