Re: Modify Gori GP50
Just a thought, you said it was A Rapido 250 reed valve, so obviously modified to take a reed valve. Was a boost/finger port cut and the piston modified for 360 degree inlet timing? If not that would definitely explain the missing power, if not the seizing .

Re: Modify Gori GP50
I know it’s not the question you asked, but I think you need to sort out that Rapido, something is very wrong . My home tune Rapido 230 reed valve is good for 85mph + (admittedly it has a TSR Evo expansion exhaust). If it’s the Gori holding the Rapido back, it might do the same for the RB!

The Protech rear shock is available in two lengths, are you sure you haven’t got the longer one?

Fitted one to same spec (SX200) and didn’t have this problem. Could you maybe have the longer S2 rear shock fitted? The Rimini offset cones with the flat sided engine bar are excellent for topend clearance issues without the possible offset cone downside of twisting cones.

You can get an Series 3 Li light switch that works the indicators. It was used on some Indian models. Turning the lights on and off is handled by a normal SX/TV/GP ignition switch and the indicators are then operated by what was the Li lights on/off switch. It makes a very effective solution with th...

Re: SCOOTOPIA 185 KIT, ANY GOOD ?
I've just built one for someone but never ridden it. Here's my summary. Ring gap and piston to bore clearance good out of the box. Using 58/107 crank, squish was around 1.2mm with supplied base gasket. Piston was about 2mm above exhaust port at BDC, but no rings showing. Nice centre squish head. Re...

Re: Anti dive for spauq
Just re-reading your post Robbie I can see a possible problem. You CAN’T just leave the link off an antidive disc brake setup. If you do, the first time you apply the brake it will rotate around the axle and smash into the fork! If it doesnt it means that the caliper mount isn’t free to rotate round...
