three months later and I've got my new plate,was quite painless actually,didn't have anything returned.Only took 8 days from sending off the V55/5 to receiving my reg doc.
new Black plate should arrive tomorra then Scarbrough on fri.

thanks for the replies,read the thread on the other forum then just filled in the form online and received a message from them asking for more information,with a phone number to call,but closed on Sundays.Bit of lying involved to complete the form,not sure what they need now but will keep you posted...

I've had mine fitted for a year,worked great until a couple of months ago.The temp works but every other reading is all over the place,clock resets itself at will and the face has been steamed up since I first went out in the rain some 8 months ago,almost ready to bin it!

so your exhaust is full of fuel when tap is off? fuel tap knackerd because of shite in the tank which has also blocked the filter in the carb causing starvation,overheating,pinking and BANG
