I have had to file 2 hubs to get the sips to sit on the rear hubs,the hubs were touching the wheels and not going all the way down.

Front or back,or both wheels with loose nuts?.

yep tried that straight away,had the bottom out problem with mate couple years ago.

Extra washer is only about 1mm at most,think you could be wright tho after all SIl stopped making scoots in the 90s, you have to wonder where the parts really come from.

Thought that at first but put old hub back on and all ok + as said extra washer stops rock on new hub and cone.

Just changed rear hub and it rocks on layshaft when torqued,took hub off tried old cone,same, put new cone on with extra washer behind cone and it torques up,this is a new SIL hub and cone,any one got any ideas why the old one was ok and the new one rocks or has any one had this happen or do i leave...

Good move to DOT5, had this in mine for 9 years with no problems before some one comes on here and condems it.
