Thanks for that , I take it then that the gauge reads the max compression it registers after you turn the engine over and doesn't return to zero till you reset it. I hope you get sorted without breaking the bank.

Sorry for butting in but is it just a matter of plugging in the compression tester and kicking the scooter over to get a reading? Any tips

Is anyone on this forum a bona fide fully paid up member of the Lambretta Club of Ireland? I ask regarding contacting the membership secretary.

Is it running from the regulator or from a battery with an in line fuse? these can be sensitive to fluctuations in current apparently and can blow if not properly regulated.
Which model is it by the way?

I lost three of the four on the rear but I put that down to my own incompetence rather than a design flaw. I have learned my lesson and have had no further issues.

I use a Knox venture shirt from 2013 the one with the light blue collar I'm very happy with it. The optional chest inserts are a bit bulky but not a deal breaker

I'm using one with an af road and am very pleased with both. Easy clutch does lighten up the action a good bit.
