Mr Booth its the light old ducati style light flywheel you have not a lightened one.I've heard of people going back to Indian mid weight ones due to pick up issues,can anyone shed any light to that fact or are they ok? Ok chaps . Original flywheel is ready and ive bought a af rayspeed lightened one. The af looks a nice bit of kit and is going on. Mainly to ease my concerns of damaging the crank. But I have had a few disscusions concerning the running. Ie the motor working harder etc. I would be interested to hear ...

Can't answer you question about lightening or not, but if you do want it lightening, there's a very nice man who lives on Flint mountain who has a Gp crankshaft (mandrel?) mount for his lathe who will do it for you. honda 295 flywheel advice

Since my flywheel has sheared all the rivets I was wondering wether to get it lightened before reconnecting it using high tensile bolts.
So any thoughts on leaving as is or lightening much appreciated, thanks.

Personally I think silkoline is too thick and expensive to mix on a road bike, its not too bad if mixed and shaken in a can but it soon " drops out" the petrol and settles in the bottom of the tank and float bowl, put a mix in a milk bottle and stand for a few days. Pro 2 is more a race o...

not as pissed as your flywheel mr booth Yes Dan its a possibility,been thinking of down jetting for some time,it was set up "safe" on a dyno when initially built,my fuel consumption isnt the best considering the reed valve is fitted.Averaging 8 miles per litre Lol. I like smokey scooters ...
