I would be worried about any autolube system being able to deliver enough oil on a tuned scooter. On my twist and go used for racing we removed the autolube and used premix for this very reason.

Having said that my Aplillia RS250 had autolube and it was a lot faster than my scooter

Be wary of the lightweight ones from Rayspeed, I bought one last year they don’t match up with the cowling and the pickup rubbed on the inside. I fitted one and had neither of these problems. Yes the fins are short so you might want to fill the gap between the ends of the fins and the cowl to impro...

I bought one of the early BGM shocks with the white springs many years ago but never got around to fitting it. Anyway when I took it out the box at the weekend oil had obviously leaked out

Has anyone rebuilt one of these shocks?
