If you want something abit more modern (auto/elec start) why not convert your existing bike?
Granted some auto conversions look s**t and stand up about 10ft at the back but they can be done to look good.
Shiny Red nr Stroud did a gp that looked good.

Re: BGM 225 is it plug and play?
Not heard of any plating issues with the RT. There was a recall/swap on early, mainly small block kits, which had a ring issue I believe but relatively was a small amount of them. I changed rings after the first 1k as a matter of course. Done maybe 12k with no issues at all. Had new rings back in th...

Re: What Speed From What Kit? (ballpark)
Cheers, not a whole lot different to mine. Annoying you've had issues with it but least you know the cause and the fix. I did think of an RM pipe, along with a ADS3/CST3 but think I'm going to send the v4 to MB to modify it so it works how they used to before bgm messed about with the design, I gues...

Interested to know what the rest of the set up is for the RT Have an RT225 with phbh28, jet-sx gearing 16/46 and 62mm crank. Bgmv v4 is holding it back I feel. RT 225 BGM SX gears topped out about 68 at 6.9K RPM Avanti, Fran Race GP box 19/46 not had it flat out but had to roll off at 73 as I was ne...

Excellent Rosscla.
Are you happy with it and do you find it worth while for the extra light?
I can't fault it myself

Re: LED COB Headlights (spanners manual)
Looks good Rosscla. I need to tidy my wiring up but getting the time or enthusiasm is slowing me down from doing it.

Re: LED COB Headlights (spanners manual)
It definitely feels like quality, a lot better than the cheap hid ones I got for the car that lasted a few weeks

Re: LED COB Headlights (spanners manual)
He has got a standard fitment bulb on test with help from scootering I believe if you don't want to convert to H4 fitting. I'm not sure what they look like in with a normal glass, the spread may not be as good as with a Jockeys unit but it'll be a massive improvement either way. Just to note, they a...

Re: LED COB Headlights (spanners manual)
Send him a message to see when they are back in, he's been helpful when I've been in contact. I got some car dash lights off him too. He's an ex scooterist and I believe working with scootering on getting a standard lammy fitting one tested. Still be DC though. Yes, responded promptly and apparentl...
