What size choke ?

on a phbh with a kitted 225 i use a 70.....using a 60 meant a hand over the carb'.

Unfortunately a lot of those who made it interesting got band. There was also a core of knowledgeable contributors (half a dozen ?) who brought some good advice to the forum. Unfortunately when they drifted away there hasn't been quality replacements. Certainly for Lambrettas this now leaves the LCG...

If it's stalling when clutch released doesn't that mean the plates are separating ok ?

Super glue would be too brittle and snap off, silicone may work, but a sure fix solution would be to drill and tap the face of the pivot then fit a loctited screw with a suitable washer or washers.

Dodgy flywheel ? loose magnets or a crack in the magnet would give the symptoms you've described

With lack of power i'd be checking/replacing the piston rings........whilst doing this remove excess carbon if an issue.
