Head gasket, base gasket, inlet manifold, exhaust manifold + other

I holed a piston that was caused by a crack in the casing on a stud hole....

air leak......possibly cylinder head (loss of power)

Before you touch anything i'd try a leak test to check if there is a leak....and where.

You can always move the peg positions yourself, if pushed.

i'm fitting a Wossner into my Avanti. I took the barrel to AF and they checked the pegs would miss all the ports...........they seemed to think it was quite important.

fuel tap just has a penny washer riveted into the slot so panel has to come off to turn it on and off, I just leave it on as a rule, not been a problem upto now, I have no route to get to the fuel rod,

I fitted an electric valve on mine to overcome this. Works fine unless your battery's flat !

Makes sense.......live in from regulator giving a permanent un-switched supply for brake light, this is then joined and goes to headset, basically live in and out......the third wire will be the switched wire to the rear brake light. Fran-Race for nice long straight roads, SuperTourer for hills and windy roads if you don't want to be changing gear all the time........

I enjoy the Fran-Race but it can be frustrating if you're riding in a group and are constantly trying to get in the power band.
