It's been a while and the Avanti still runs fine. May take it apart one day but if it runs fine leave it alone is my motto. Now going back to a 5 speed box from a close ratio 4 speed, the previous cyclone 5 speed was a joy but did not last, managed to get a new version cluster and cog that's heading...

Update 2019 The avanti is still running well, not touched engine since last update and ran 85mph on dyno at Mersea 2017 to show its still got it

After building a few and running Gt200 on my lammy for a few years, here's my set up with TT evo pipe and not much different with Ron moss pipe. Final ratio 4.6 using close ratio box

I have some good springs that I use in 4 plate set ups to 35hp, also retrofitted into other clutches with good effect

If youre within lower tolerance it could well be the gearbox worn on inner face, hence the rattle? Found this in my Gp 200 with 58k on. Unfortunately parts do where out

Ive got a few logged from taking road dyno to events, my m8's sx200 with the addition of 22mm carb ran 51mph 8.5 hp rear wheel.
The sil gp200 was 12hp measured at flywheel.

The gori race 50 seems to perform well on Gt186 kits, 18.95 hp 14.35 tq, the Gp50 pipe certainly brings the kit to life 21.44 hp 16.73 tq which is more like an expansion.
