Re: Carb problems
You'll probably get loads of jetting combinations thrown at you.. but I'll start the ball rolling... Not quite the same set up... Mugello V2 186 kit, 25mm phbl, exhaust AF clubman... But hope its pretty close to whats required..By the way this set up was dynoed (Readspeed) and set up properly (2009-...

Re: Disappointed with BGM fitment.. Another job for the dril
OK, just seen link and the available bracket to solve the problem... Wish I'd never bothered, more money, I bought the thing from scooter centre koln , wish it was mentioned in the description regarding the v2 mugello fitment. Strange how a clubman fits easily, and a scootRS expansion without any is...

Disappointed with BGM fitment.. Another job for the drill
Just come to fit my newly purchased BGM V3 exhaust to my series 2 tonight, I expecting an easy fit, I am very disappointed with the result. Seeing as there is plenty adjustment built into the brackets, and sliding rear pipe mount, See below: (alais, the exhaust will not fit without some modification...

Re: Ts1 NK jetting
Just to re-itterate the needle differences..i once used a X12 needle in a 30mm PHBH carb on a 200cc engine many moons ago... After a blown piston (8 miles down the road), I realised the X12 was a mile away from the X13 needle, which was much richer (I should have started with)... You learn from your...

Re: Ts1 NK jetting
OK, glad its helpfull... The set-up I sent you was a standard supplied carb from Reedspeed (west mids) after telling them the engine spec. I had my GP dynoed after fitting the carb, always advisable, all it needed was a quick Jerome (owner of Reedspeed) needle feetle (light sanding) to get it to run...

60 pilot (plus idle tube, standard supplied I guess.Sometimes they are omitted), 152 main jet, DP266, K5 needle 2nd clip down, matched transfers, no airfilter....
Hope that helps..

Re: Semi hydraulic choices.
I have the a semi hydraulic front brake on my series 2 (ScootRS disc complete).. Works great, it gets better as the pads bed in, miles better than the standard drum that was on there previously. The remote master cylinder fits under the horn casting quite easily, the horn has to be re-positioned. Se...

Re: Which way to go....? RB or TS1 or ...?
I think you've answered your own question... I want to scare myself..!! RB it is then.. out of the box quick as a quick thing..!!! As usual, clutch, crank & drive train etc has to be top notch to suit.. a guy here has one on a GP, built by A/F, and you can't help but smile when you open the thro...
