I use a S3 Li150 box with 17/47, 30 phbh and a Fran race pipe. Not too big a jump between 3rd and 4th and pulls well.

Unless you are two up a lot you wont have any problem using a 30mm carb but you might get a bit fed up with 15/46 if you are going to use it for distance work.

Float stuck? Try taking the bowl off and make sure its free and shutting off the fuel? Might be worth a try.

Bit of a sickener Eden. Hell of a coincidence if you both had leaks within a mile of each other! I had a carbon copy on the M74 a few years ago. Half of the pumps were fenced off coz they were waiting on a delivery. I thought it might be the dregs from their tanks I got? Russian roulette at fuel sto...

I run 17/46 li 150 on mine and it pulls it no problem. 28mm phbh and taffy copy. I have a devtour but haven't tried it on the rt yet. unless you are an, ahem, fuller-framed gentleman, I'd say it should work well. Be interested to hear how it goes.

You might want to check that there is room for the nuts to go on before you weld the sleeve on. I had to grind the sleeve and file down the nuts n washers.

Yeah, had roughly the same thing mate. Changed the stub and found it had to be leaned off in the midrange. Must have been drawing air from the off ( bought the pipe 2nd hand).
