just picked this api series 2 up which has been sitting in a garage for a long time. Just stripped the head and barrel down twice now to renew blown gasket, put it back together again to hear a terrible noise, it turns out that the new gaskets I have used are thinner. so the piston is hitting the cylinder head, where can I get different thicknesses of gaskets? cheers

not really had vespas over the years so need help on this please. Just got a vespa px( blue) 2007 from a friend. I need to match the colour, First where can I get the colour match ? is the colour linked to the frame number? The best vespa dealer to help me > cheers Lee

Went down to the garage once to do a 5 minute job, came back 3 hours later with a Stanley knife wound in the thumb and 2 plasters on fingers,
blood everywhere .

Make sure that it is a good quality tap because I bought one off ebay and did not check my FAST FLOW for fuel per minute, it was blocked, so buy one from a good scooter shop not a back street remake !! I found it easier to take the tank off clean it out and put the tap on semi tight then put it in p...

Just picked up a lambretta special and the viabration is bad so I am going to do the usual bits to stop this, what is a good quality engine mount ? cheers
