as long as youve got a reasonable depth of paint to work with, flat out any dust or dirt "nibs". use 2000 grit if youve got it, but not coarser than 1200. then polish with a medium/ coarse compound, such as farecla g3, followed by a fine, like g10. t cut is old hat now, id only use it if i...

looks like micro- blistering, caused by spraying in damp conditions. the pimples are caused by moisture that is now trying to evaporate outwards. you"ll have to sand back the paint as far as necessary to remove the pimples, before spraying again. steve

depends on the manufacturer really. most common is 2;1;1,(paint, hardener, thinners), but ive also used 3;1;10%, and 4;1;1 for hi build primer. your paint supplier should supply a data sheet specific to what he sells you.

not sure russ, but if you get it, the body supplies shop at the top of cryers hill has the mixing formulas. got my white from them. they can do it in either aerosol, (proper trade ones), or for sprayguns. :biggrin:

kit for siezed t5

anybody recommend a kit to replace the heat siezed one on a mates t5, malossi, pinasco etc. also what about jetting. not sure what exhaust hes running yet though. thanks,
