Series 5 Engine Mount Bushes
Hi, can anyone out there tell me where I can purchase some new Engine mount bushes for a Lambretta Innovations Series 5. I have been in touch with Frank Sanderson through Scomadi and Frank says different bushes were used for different scooters but that they were most likely Paulstra SC10. I have bee...

Re: Rapido 250
I've got one that's been tuned by Harry Barlow. I seem to recall Harry saying something about the design not allowing for enough big end lubrication and he drilled two 6mm holes one in either side of the piston to help overcome this

Re: bleeding hydraulic brake
You could have air trapped in a loop or kink in the hydraulic hose in the headset. Get a large syringe fill it with brake fluid and connect it to the bleed point ar the disc and fill the system from the bottom. It clears the air every time.

Changing to a 60mm crank
If I change my crankshaft from a 58/107 to a 60/107 and want to keep my port timings the same, is it a simple matter of putting in a 1mm base packer and a 1 mm base packer or is it more complicated than that?

Re: bike pick up/man with van
Try Anyvan http://www.anyvan.com/av/instant-motorcycle/ It cost me about £100 to transport a GP150 and spare engine from Yorkshire to Exeter. You put up your enquiry and the van owners quote against each other. You may get lucky and get a good price if one of them has other loads along the way. You ...

Fitting a BGM LT coil
I have just bought a BGM LT coil after the SIL one on relatively new stator plate failed. I have cut off 4 laminates on the stator plate and fitted the BGM coil. I haven't soldered anything yet, but it is obvious that the yellow wire solder joint on the adjacent lighting coil will be touching the wh...

Re: Nova
I don't know what you are going to try to register but I had a problem with an SIL GP. DVLA would not accept a dating certificate as proof of the year of manufacture for an age related plate. They told me that because SIL were still in existence I had to get proof of age from them. The official I wa...
