Well I had to take the forks out as I had damaged the lock , all done now thanks for your help

Sorry for hijacking this thread , would it possible then to re harden my kickstart then , I pursume heating it up and quickly cooling it , it's a original sx200 one !

Be careful using heat , I managed to soften mine , but I think the problem was I was using a blow lamp so the heat gradually built up , you might be ok if you was to use oxy acetylene because of how quick it would heat the metal up

Hi , a mate of mine has snapped the key off in the barrel , how do you get the old one out to change it ? I've taken the horn cover off and removed the ignition switch part , but I can't see how the rest comes out , we ve had a go at knocking it out with a big screw driver and hammer and ended up sm...
