Re: Series 2 engine mounts.
What you need is short mounts and 60mm cranks. Got them in 232 Rapido and 193 sr reedvalve engines. Invest in shares in Loctite

Re: Crank options for mild Lambretta tune
Only problem I had was when Taffspeed did me a Stage 5 200 top end for my Jet200 about 25 years ago. Told me point blank it would snap the standard sx/li crank taper. They were right, flywheel snapped clean off.

Re: Does RD350 piston fit Indian 185kit?
If you use a 110 rod you shouldnt have to top and tail barrel with an RD350 piston. Just need to cut a boost port above the inlet port. Should get you about 17bhp depending on how much porting/carb/exhaust etc.

Re: 185cc/64mm piston choice
I believe Corrado's 1st suggestion would utilise the Mitaka Suzuki TS185ER piston. You could also speak to MB about one of their forged Race Tour pistons which would probably avoid the need to change the rod. They used to have them in 64mm although I think the new batch may start at 65mm and will p...

Re: AF NK Road pipe on S2
Quick update. Had to use nylon spacers and longer bolts on end can brackets to get enough clearance for the handles. As for the noise, its no louder on tickover than the jl3 on my other engine, sounds a bit tinnier though. All good, started 3rd kick. Now for jetting fun and running in. At least 25 m...

Re: AF NK Road pipe on S2
Cheers fellas, not worried about the noise, the neighbours are pissed off with me leaving for work every morning at 7 with an old JL3 blasting out, so its just going to be a different annoying noise  Already got runner cut so a bit of grinding on the handle wont hurt. Just got to wait for r...

AF NK Road pipe on S2
Has anyone fitted a new NK Road pipe on to a S2? Just finished building my Rapido 230 and before I fit it to my S2 wondered if there is enough clearance with the S2 Panels. Dont mind trimming panels but not sure if panel handles are going to foul. Fingers crossed.

Re: Series 2 Hydraulic Hose
I ran mine down the gap between the clamp and the headset just by the bolt. It then runs over the top of the throttle rod to a hole ground in the bottom headset just below the kinked bit in the headst cover. Sorry not got any photos and cider has impaired my discriptive abilities :fb: :fb:
