Re: What Gearbox to go for !

i've changed out all of mine to the AF 4 speeds as on 1 225 and 2 230's transformed the gearing for the 3 of them.Only had 1 issue where i ripped the gear cluster on one but fitted a new one in and so far no problems.Would go 5 speeds in them if i had the cashflow but as a 2nd choice it's my prefere...

Re: Help! SIP Road 2 Fitting.

A lot of people cut/ bend off the nut cage and get a spanner around the nut, otherwise like you say you’re completely blind Cheers! Looks like I may well have to go down that route. I have emailed supplier, and will wait to see if they come back with any suggestions first! i found it a pain too the...

Re: Monza rebuild options?

Well I’m hoping for a bit more than that as I’ve maxed it at just over 90 on gps as it stands. Being the v1 it apparently had better porting to start with and Harry says It doesn’t need tuning but I know there’s room for improvement in there as it struggles to full Rev out unless the conditions are...

Re: Monza rebuild options?

I’m getting Harry Barlow to do it as he only lives down the road from me. there isn’t any option other than steel liner due to the damage caused when the piston skirt fell to bits, I was just looking for any other input from people with the same cylinder Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I have a ...

Re: Monza rebuild options?

Right ok I’ll maybe look into a longer rod then. I suppose it can’t do any harm. What are people’s thoughts on port layouts. Having it steel lined gives me a blank canvas to start with and seeing it’s a v1 monza which I’m told is a tuners wet dream due to all the meat on the barrel I wanna make the...

Re: Indian li150 gearbox

Oh Surely the sx will be alot more useable than the tv2 gearbox.... not really tv200 is a better box than the sx one i think i can only go on what i've used and settled with. Tbh found the sx to be a ballache but it may be it's not suitable for my super monza.I was experimenting with a few boxes an...

Re: Indian li150 gearbox

Being able to keep in the power in 4th is more a function of final drive ratio rather than gearbox chosen, that is by varying front sprocket and crownwheel you can end up with the appropriate final drive ratio on (just about) any gearbox. What is generally more of an issue on a tuned engine is the ...

Re: Indian li150 gearbox

Looking forward to being able to keep it in the power in forth and keeping a steady speed... i originally had an sx200 box in mine took it out as the jump was too much and kept having to go up a...
