new to vespas myself im finding the same strange questions coming up. (try working on a t5 headset....what knobhead designed that pile of plastic) but so far from what i can tell all vespas need the headset lifting off the forks to get to the ends. i do uit by bungy tieing the bars to the shed roof...

I want to give my ss180 a bit more mph and put a sports exhaust on it, whats the best one to use and who sells them ? cheers Hello Woody , do you want a "look like stock" exhaust or a really sport one (loud & big) ? , if your engine is stock , I think the SIP road is the best solution...

From the excellent Scootentole forum (France) ,here's a new solution about improving those old forks : a V5A shock instead of the front spring :
