Re: GS160 - ScootRS Electronic Ignition Kit

Hi Gary, (GL Scoot) just spent an incredibly frustrating day and a half trying to sort out the wiring on my Pinasco kit onto to a GS ignition switch and GS handlebar control. Trying to read across 3 different wiring diagrams and translate...murder. Got the power source squared away by connecting the...

Re: Moto Vespa (GS) Project

Going for the all in-one tank and seat combo with a rear filler cap. Akin to the ones that scooter in style produce. It's with the fabricator now. Simple low profile in black.

Re: Moto Vespa (GS) Project

Little update on the progress. Trying to dry build as much as I possibly can. Sean build the engine for me as a mile muncher with plenty of torque for the country roads up here. Slow going but crimbo should see a bit of a shimmy on. Plan just now is Black. Standard 200 Gearbox Pinasco Flytech Igniti...

Re: Moto Vespa (GS) Project

Hi Graham, hope your well mate. Yes slow going but taking my time and learning as I'm going along. Hope to get a bit more time in the hut this weekend and post a few photos. Shaun. Hi Gary, Could you shed a wee bit more light on the GS rear wheel etc for alignment please. Have not sourced a donor en...

Re: Moto Vespa (GS) Project

Yip very nice set up. Actually bought a set of GS forks from the guy who built that scoot in the link you enclosed...Graham (cartmel808), seen Sean Brady building his Quattriini too, last time I visited Dan and Sean. Have gone for these just now: http://i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae120/hshaunharkne...

Re: Moto Vespa (GS) Project

Great phots, tidy setup on the handlebars.

"Packing" is round rubber vibration washers from a Lambretta leg shield/floor kit...ideal.

Live in the mighty metropolis that is Elgin.

Re: Moto Vespa (GS) Project

Thanks for the responses, very much appreciated. Have bitten the bullet and ordered the BGM shock from the guys at Scooter Centre. Hope it will nor be too bulky, still in two minds whether to attach the MS for the Grimeca to the lower fork as designed or change to the handlebar mount....will be a lo...

Moto Vespa (GS) Project

Not been on here for ages...hello again. Just getting some bits together and prepping the frame at the moment....plan is to do everything myself. Not had a Vespa in years, always been Lambrettas, but always liked the styling of a GS (type)...it will have a PX engine of some description yet TBD....pu...
