1/ Should the Front spring that holds the front sprocket & Cush drive on, spin even when fitted correctly?
2/ Are there different size/length front springs?
3/ could the Cush drive jump whilst on tick over causing a loud knocking noise until revved?
Any help appreciated.
Cheers

Re: Stator Plate problem
Darrell mine is the opposite, poor low running. If I thrash the tits off if all day its fine. If I do a slow ride out or get stuck in slow moving traffic it kills the plug?

Safe running temps
Hi all I have just fitted a temp gauge to my tuned TS1 lammy.
It occured to me that I had no idea of what the critical operating temps were when the engine starts to get damaged.
Anyone got any idea what I should loook out for temp wise?
Cheers

Re: Lambretta API info
Thanks Lambro, thats what I thought. I have been sold an LI150 API side case for my 150engine and it does not fir, the stud holes do not line up. I have tried it on 4 different engine cases and it fits none of them. The sell is trying to tell me that it will only fit a lambretta Li150 API engine as ...
