S2 LI125 Flywheel cowl issue
Hi I recently purchased a Series 2 LI 125 engine which I noticed had a GP crank and flywheel on it! On fitting it to my series 3 I have found that I cannot get the flywheel cowl to fit on as it is making contact with the fins??!! Do I have to fit a GP flywheel that has been lightened/machined? Hi I have got a standard LI125 engine and I have just bought a second hand SH1-18 carb that is jetted for an LI150! Interchanging crankshafts???
Can a crankshaft from GP engine fit in a Jet or any other series 3 engine casing without any modification and vice versa? I am attempting to build a Li125 engine and have a spare GP crank so I do not want to fork out if I don't have too!
