To clean between fins use a very thin terminal screwdriver to flick out the crud that has built up. Have a good torch/strong lamp handy so you can see clearly how its coming up. Sory mate, I did not read the post thoroughly. Jetwash?? I did once leave a piston in a jacket pocket prior to a wash in the washing machine. If you want it welding, just look in the old yellow pages, should imagine £5 at the most. Or some one from here may be able to help you out if you can get to them, i live in Melton Mowbray and dont mind offering my services (depending where you live)
