Re: T5 Millennium electrics
Hi, I have just stripped, bead blasted, painted and rebuilt a T5 Millennium, the engine runs fine, but complete lack of all electrics (lights, indicators, horn...) I've checked the blue wire going into the regulator and plenty of power there. I fear the horn rectifier may be the issue... any other s...

Re: SX150 flywheel not always turning when kickstart operated
All, thank you so much for the replies and suggestions. Prior to taking the side casing off, I unhooked the clutch cable, and sure enough, it started first time! So, I had a look inside and the front sprocket bolt was tight (impact wrench was used) and the circlip was still in place! I then dissasse...

SX150 flywheel not always turning when kickstart operated
Hi, looking for a bit of help! Just rebuilt the SX150 engine (Mugello 186, Scootopia 22mm carb, Ancilotti, SIL ignition) and nearly everything else brand new, to original spec. Engine ran fine, then it started revving and no power, so split the cases and noticed the front sproket had just worn away ...

Re: Sticking electronic flywheel
I must admit after trying/verifying all of the aforementioned thoughts, the only one that remains is the magnets on the flywheel catching the stator. If this is indeed the cause, what is the remedy?

Re: Sticking electronic flywheel
Apologies, I should have stated that the flywhel had it's boss welded up...not the crank as intimated!

Re: Sticking electronic flywheel
The crank like most of the engine components is a brand new item (MEC black) but has had the boss welded. Could this be the source of the problem?...if so, how do I go about fixing/truing the flywheel?
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Sticking electronic flywheel
Hi, Looking for a bit of help... Newly rebuilt Imola 186 engine, genuine PWK 28mm carb and JL3 pipe. The problem seems to be that when I attempt to kick the scooter over, it starts, then cuts out. Upon examination, the flywheel seems to be sticking/grinding at certain points of it's travel. Any idea...

Lambretta engine casing weld repair required
Hi,
Does anyone know of any good TIG welders in West London/Surrey that would be able to repair a small crack on a transfer port on a Lambretta casing?
Thanks,
george4422
