KMT products

Just received a box of 10 push in main jets for the Vespa from KMT for £9.80 that's including postage. I've got to say they look very good quality and value for money as some dealers are selling these at over £6 per jet. Going to have a play about with jetting tonight and see what there like.

Sip valves

Anybody know the thread size do sip valves? I have snapped one in the rim and it needs re tapping. I've used a thread gauge on it and it's a m8 x 0.8 which is a unusual size has anybody had to do this before?

Re: Vespa Inlet Porting

Thanks Sean, I was just going to remove 4mm from the rear as per instruction but I will have a go the way you suggested to make sure it's right.

Do you open all of the inlet or taper it down leaving the top of inlet hole the same size?

Vespa Inlet Porting

I've got my hands on a Polini 210 with Polini 60mm crank and have just matched the casings to the barrel. I now need to modify the carb inlet, looking at the supplied instructions it looks as though you have to elongate it by 4mm. My question is do you do this at the back end of the port the furthes...
