Did you buy the cluth second hand? Usually, the clutch nipple for LI should be included. You just have to buy the PX one for GP covers.

In a TS1/Monza, just the Vforce 4 for Yamaha RD350 fits whithout heavily modifying the barrel intake.

Instead of standard rivets (aluminium), I always use stainless rivets, but gas tight:

I personally think it was a compression problem. Did you measure your compression ratio? Did you also use a high quality fuel with an higher octane? And 2mm squish is way too much in my opinion. If you´re increasing your squish too much, you´ll lose the squish effect. The fuel will detonate in an ar...

As far as I got mine in mind, the cradle sits centrally, but the engine is not sitting centrally in the cradle itself, because the clutch cover is exceeding the cradle.
