Similar set up as me. Same carb. I've got a 160 main jet. 55 idle I think X7 needle. Spot on. Ride hard and long with no problems. Nice plug chops. Damp outer chocolate colour dry inner. As it should be.plug chops tell you two things. Outer is the mix. Inner is the temperature your running at....

cast iron or ally, any is good for me as long as its steel lined,,,,coatings are crap for any engine thats actually being used daily, especially with no air filter,,i know someones going to say..i had my TS 5 years and it dont need plating, well it probably does, even when not worn off it expands,, ...

when you refit the new key, take some time and lap the crank to the flywheel it makes sense, last time i sheared a key (about 79) i cut the corners off a sixpence with a pair of pliers and a brick as a hammer and wedged two bits in. it got me home to newcastle from bridlington <(i think), ever since...
