Re: S2 struggling at higher revs
Having similar issues with S2 Li150 with 175 conversion. Jets are 45, 50, 118 any not sure whether its too much or too little fuel (rich) at full throttle. Putting on choke doesn't help and just adds to prob, not sure whether that indicates I need to go up or down on the main jet size. So got a 115 ...

Re: Correct oil mix percentage 3% ?
Forgive my ignorance if I'm mistaken but does adding less oil not make it richer, ie richness/leaness refers to the proportion of petrol that will burn and not the among of oil added.

Re: Suspected Puncture with Slime
Not really a matter of being tight, I was just asking if it provided a permanent fix in which case would I just be wasting my time unnecessarily. If I'm going to have to take the wheel off and split the rim etc of course I'll change the tube if I find it was punctured. I had ask about reflating only...

That's what I was thinking - I'll keep the valve upwards and leave it for a few days to let the slime settle at the bottom.. Thanks for confirming for me.

Suspected Puncture with Slime
Out Saturday and heard a distinct "spurt" noise from rear. First thought was puncture and that I had been saved by the Slime. Checked tyre and can see nothing obvious. Covered about 30 miles no probs and or loss of pressure. Will Slime provide a permanent fix until I need to replace tyre o...

Re: whitewall cleaner
I use very sparingly on a cloth so there is no surplus to seep anywhere. But your mention of leaning into a cornering has me thinking, since there will be a lot of pressure on the edge of the rim that might not be helped by even a hint of lubrication when the tyre is flexed.

Re: whitewall cleaner
:? How come soulsurfer? Silicon Spray is formulated for use on rubber and does a great job in cleaning it. It is not a solvent like WD40. Is your concern maybe with getting on treads or perhaps lubricating tyre off the rim? I also understand that the aerosol silicon sprays are solvent based and so t...
