I've an RS200 stage 4 copy, pulls like a train but very revvy, I was running std Indian gearing 47x18 on 90/90/10 tyres. Thinking of changing tyres to 100/90/10's and upping gearing to 47x20. Anybody here done this and dya think the leap will be to steep?
Cheers

Re: Rapido 225
Nice one Will check all you've advised, I was fairly certain barrel etc were spot on, a mate built it and knows his stuff. Makes sense what your saying abt frothing, will check carb. Thing doesn't "Pink" though, just nips up over 60 for no apparent reason. I'm convinced it's not much and u...

Re: Rapido 225
Hi mate Clearence is .3 thou and piston is same as yours but 3 rings. Kit was fine prior to using the PM, however was only used on short journeys every day (20 miles or so) Not a rubber mounted carb and I'm unsure of float needle, will have to check. Unsure of the timing aswell, am going to get that...

Re: E bay Alli barrels
At that price you could swap piston and pay for re-work and still have a cheapishish set-up?
I'm getting to involved with all this lol, Stick with what I've got, Rapido or re-work one of these cheapo's?
Grrrrrrrrrr

Re: Cross Hatching in Cylinder
Hi
This isn't to answer your question, just wondering is it the race version you run or the classic.
What piston?
Finaly what do you think of the kit and what performance were you getting?
Any ideas why it seized?
Thanks

Re: Rapido 225
Yea It's on full panel work btw, no hole for carb! Plug colour is fine and I use Comp 2 oil. Carb as I've said is a 30 mil ph/bh. Bike will easily hit 60 and 70 if I thrash it, Is very revvy and I feel could do with gearing upping. Racetour piston and rebore to my kit £160 or Rapido 225 £200 as a ...

Re: Rapido 225
Hi guys Thanks for your advice. The stage 4 I've got at mo is all I would ask from a kit, it's quick, torquey and never lets me down. Main reason for a change is the nipping up bit, which only seemed to start after I changed from a Clubman to the PM! I may be better changing the piston (Which is cra...
