it had fallen down into the engine, not a big gap but it did it, clutch back out, no sign of it, searched everywhere around, no sign, opened the cases, poked around, no sign of it, really scratching my head by this stage, thinking maybe it didn't get inside...then spotted it wedged in the kickstart ...

Ive just dropped the brass plunger, it must have gone into the engine, any ideas or is it time to split the cases??

and yes I felt like a total idiot when it happened ;(

changed the thermostat but its still overheating.... how big a job is changing the water pump and is there a way of seeing if it isnt working?

turns out the sensor for the temp gauge had come off, so Ive been riding it without a clue that it was overheating..... sensor wire re-connected but the gauge is going to red within a few minutes
any ideas?

was driving in heavy slow motorway traffic, GT125 with Malossi 210 kit cut out but restarted, then backfired alot and cut out, started again..... pulled into hard shoulder and saw that 2 rubber pipes had melted at the nipples - the 2 brass nipples in the photo not the tube that carries the coolant w...

DVLA/SORN problems

has anyone been having problems with DVLA?
Ive been told I havent declared a bike SORN and they want to fine me £100 but I did it on line, even sent them a copy of the webpage that shows it but apparently that isnt enough evidence because I didnt receive acknowledgement by post!

I've had them fitted on a few scoots, some of the handlebar bolts fit better than others, on the ones that wouldn't tighten up easily I packed them with plumbers putty, the stuff that hardens brick hard
it may be worth a trip to B&Q to see if they have an expanding bolt that is a better size

the exhaust wasn't on very tightly at the barrel, would air intake cause this?

warped malossi piston - why?
