Re: Casa Lambretta

Original ignition switches just can't fit into a "non-switch-headset" (i.e. Li3) as the diameters of the switch housing and the cut-out buttons are different originally! The shape is the same and the difference is very small but since it was made by Innocenti it just couldn't be the same. ...

Re: Vega clutch plates the same as Li?

No - of course NOT!
They're smaller in diameter by 1mm!
Now that makes sense...

scootrs dual seat springs rebuild kit

Has anyone fitted one of these? I got mine today but found some differences to the original Giuliari springs: First of all the new ones are thinner (1,1mm vs. 1,5mm) and shorter, together with the clips which are shorter as well this means the springs are already "preloaded" when fitted. S...

This one looks quite right on the photo:

If you still need one maybe ask the seller about the "7cm" detail.

Re: Two Carbs

Just checked in the garage: left (like Dell´Orto) one is "early/mid" models, right one is Lince/Lynx.
Since my Lince is 200cc I don´t know if they used this version also on the 125/150cc.

Re: How do I get tank back in frame??

Me again, back from the laboratory! I think it´s possible to spot the difference in the picture, this is the correct S1 item: http://www.abload.de/img/bild1236thjy.jpg http://www.abload.de/img/bild12380cjd.jpg It looks slightly longer in general, the longest ´oval´ measures 7cm quite exactly. Hop...

Re: How do I get tank back in frame??

Yes, early Series 2 Grills look like standard Series 1 items but - of course - are not identical. Like you already found out. Problem is now to source a correct on since I don't think it´s possible to spot this on a picture. However I will return to the shed tomorrow to see if I be able to make a p...

Re: Re-aligning of the gearbox endplate

Strange world...now I have to reply to my German mate in English. Anyway, you have to put the casing on a eg. a mill, gearbox area facing upwards. Use a "Innenmesstaster" (don´t know the English word - stylus of a profile miller ?) to check & align the rear axle bearing position. Then...

Re: How do I get tank back in frame??

Yep, me too! Before trying it myself I would have sweared the tank should face to toolbox when inserting, done it a dozen times and remembered it wrongly. Now I teached myself better. Happy day!
I hope it will work down under as well?!
