AF 5 speed & BGM layshaft

Has anyone fitted these 2 together? I'm having an issue when I select 1st gear, the selector is pushing 5th gear up, as in the round bit protrudes higher than the notch on the layshaft where 5th gear rests. It seems like maybe the hole for the spring is machined in the wrong place.

Australian market px200 flywheel

A bloke dropped me in a 200 motor apparently aussie market one from 2006 but the threads on the flywheel are a different size to the usual extractor. So 28mm is too small, mate had a 30mm that's too big and I haven't been able to source a 29mm one. Anyone come across this? Sent from my SM-G965F usin...

GP Clutch issue

Looking a bit of help, I have had the readspeed 5 plate clutch (£40 version) in my TS1 for a couple of years and it started to slip a bit, I stripped it and found the pressure plate was in bad shape so fitted a surflex pressure plate and new clutch, same version, I got about 40 miles and had some sl...

sequential gear selector

Asking for a friend.... he has bought one of these for his Mk1 T5 and feels that the gear change needs to be turned too far each time he changes gear, as in to change up it's right round to the mark for 4th on the headset gear change.

Has anyone else fitted one and what are your thoughts??

Re: P200e issue!

I second the comment regarding the fuel pipe being too long, I had exactly the symptoms you describe a few years ago.

BGM Pro 10 spring clutch fitting

Anybody fitted one? What's the best practice for fitting the nut considering the tab washer can't be used? Loctite just?

PX200 timing

Ok I know about the A and IT mark but having put a crank in a rebuild I want to check the timing, It is, or rather was an electric start engine and there seems to be a bit of confusion as to the correct timing. So, is the factory setting for a PX200 electric start model 18 degrees or 23 degrees? Tha...
