Thanks for the comments. Nice bike DP. Here in Sacramento Ca it's pretty flat so hill climbing isn't much of a issue but we'll see how the TV200 gears do when I get to San Francisco. Pulls nice off the line running a Mikuni 26 and a PM pipe.

thanks for the info. a little too much noise even for a 2 stroke pipe though. Will i have to cut it open to repair it? if so what a pain.

Rattle in my af big bore exhaust
Has anyone had issues with their clubman exhaust rattling? thought it was a bearing or gear box and may still be but seems like it may be come from the exhaust. have not yet investigated it but was wondering if it was a known issue?

Sounds like it's dieseling. it's caused by a overly lean carb mixture by which the heat in the cylinder ignites the following fuel pulse. this causes the motor to rev uncontrollably. :flaming:

i have the same problems on my tv200. im not done working on it, but was boggy up to 1/4 throttle. fixing other stuff right now (kickstart shaft) :evil: one thing i changed on the carb was the air jet. drilled it out to 2mm. made it much easier to start. i think the pilot jet size make big differenc...

i see some discs holes drilled out which makes them rattle more. but mine aren't drilled and with the clips in don't rattle at all.
