You say pinasco 215 with 60mm crank. You did use a packing plate didn't you? I say this because with the pinasco a lot of people thought you could get away with not using a packer on a 60mm crank, however if you use without a packer it will make the compression too high. pinasco 215 with mec 60mm race crank, spaco 26mmcarb,scorpion pipe. timing is at 16 and carb is 52pilot/be3 with 140main, engine temp is at 200 to 250f on s.i.p speedo at cruising 65ish. plug is browny grey after a run but very hot to hold, is this ok temp to run on or is it gona meltdown on me??? a...

can anyone tell me how the rev counter is supposed to function if its only getting a feed from the permanent 12v ac power from light switch feed. according to form on ac system like mine(sprint with p2 engine) the 3wire feed to speedo has 1 earth,1 permanent live and the rpm pickup can also be wired...

for a low buget id go for the polini 130 a 24/25mm phbl and manifold as for the pipe a polini banana, the standard crank if in good nick will be fine to use, tho i would get a large taper pkxl crank what exactly do you have ? its a vespa 90 engine, crank is shot anyway and want to get electronic st...

Get on the smallframe forum mate thats your best bet for advice. The malossi is more peaky than the polini and having run the two i would go polini. As for carb you could use 19/19 or go for a deli 25mm again both will work well. what primmaries are you running? As for a pipe depends on your budget...

if you can get hold of one then any non battery pk electronic would fit, you would be better off with the large taper pkxl crank, or even the ets one, steer clear of beedies conversion as the parts are of wanky quality, only use genuine ducati stuff, the other alternative and this is the route id g...
