Just finished the rebuild after getting knocked off and after starting the scoot was checking the wiring and lights etc... all works as it should however with the key in position 3 (main lights) everything works as it should however when you flick the onto main beam both the headlight and pilot ligh...

Just started putting the scoot back together, does the stand u bracket fit to the front or rear of the crossmember? there isn't a pic in stickys book!

GP Ignition switch

Just replacing the loom, switches etc... and whilst the majority is a striaghtforward colour to colour can anyone advise what the blue wire is from the igintion switch
This is an electronic loom (non battery)

if you take it apart again you´ll probably find that the ears of the bottom steel plate catch against the flanks of the pressure plate. if you pull in the clutch it will not have enough free play since that steel plate rests on the flanks of the pressure plate. file down the lugs (every second one...

If i understand you correctly, the pressure plate sits below below the spider by a few mill and bottoms out on the crownwheel?

I am replacing the clutch for the new MB kit (billet spider and new pressure plate) and on the first go it drags terribly to the point of not being able to slect gears without stalling, when compressed the plates have aprx 1.5mm of free play, is this ok? I can get the scoot to select a gear but this...
