Ive just rebuilt my IMOLA engine with the standard Imola piston except this time on a 60mm instead of the old 58mm crank. with a 107mm rod as before. I carefully rotated the crank/flywheel to make sure the top end was all ok and and the piston seems to make very very slight contact at bdc. Possibly ...

cheers Bofs, I already tried Mike, Camlam, MB etc. Ill give it another week or so as they said they were expecting delivery quite soon.

I was just hoping to get the scoot fixed this weekend.

Imola Piston!?

Anyone know of any stockists at present? i cant get hold of one.

I have the later kit, my old piston had IMOLA in big letters up the inside of it.

Any help on this apreciated.

Being posted to MB on Monday for a once over, tidy up + bit of a fiddle then returned with the new crank, piston and bits. haha, its just a joke mate (as is the quality of the exhaust)... Im definately NOT impressed at all with the build quality!!

Ill certainly try to get it swapped but i cant imagine anyone will take an exhaust back after 9 months, ill try though.
