Re: best crank

I've bought a few of these now. Got one in my mugello and bought a couple for engines that i've built. On ebay for £120, or JB Tunings shop for £99.00. They seem to be capable right up to ts1 standards.

Re: Who to split a crank?

Hmm... I think that some of you are over looking a valid point-

The pin that the con-rod kit comes with is over 10mm to long. Plus some dealers are supplying a slightly oversized pin with the rod kit........ so yes, cheaper is not always the best way to go!! ;)

Re: Powerjet Carbs

i did hear a guy on here or another forum moaning they'd blown up a ts1 with a mikuni and power jet set up. The thing was- he blew it up below half throttle!! :D ;) The poor carb didnt know it had a power jet at that point!!! I think he later discovered that it was more than likely to be his cylinde...

Re: ts1 fuel %

2% Putoline MHX, half as much- twice as good. All that toffee about lubricating more with 4% is not really true. I've been told time and time again that scooter engines dont work hard enough to burn 4% oil. they dont rev high enough. When on a motorway sitting at 70mph, all that extra oil turns to c...

Re: What size filter for TM24?

Have you thought about changing to a 30mm and using a MB type Ram air. I've heard of great results from large cc engines with smaller carbs!

Graphs look smart, have you got a 3rd gear run? bet it could pull your mate and his nan in a landrover!
