I would take out the slave cylinder from the back plate to bleed it. In place it is bound to be full of air and will not clear as the hose runs lower than the cylinder. Place it so the run on the hose runs to without some of it being lower than the cylinder so the air can rise easily. On the Chisels...

Too much oil ? The fully synthetic is designed to cling to the barrel walls, too much of a high percentage and you'll gunk your rings up :? can also happen if not giving it enough rev's :D Quite a few Lambrettas are now running as low as 2% with no adverse affects.
