Has anyone ever managed to buy new Lambretta Li125/150 legshield badges, that don't result in the chrome cracking off when they are bent to the correct curvature. P.S. I once mentioned this problem to a dealer on eBay who supplied me some badges. With the result he banned from his site for saying it...

One more thing. Next time it happens, operate the clutch several times. Just in case the plates are sticking in the basket.

The kickstarter turns the gearbox which turns the clutch the chain transfers the movement to the crankshaft. You describe the fault as being intermittent. These are always the most difficult to diagnose. I'm sticking with the clutch theory. Possibly weakened or broken springs. Maybe worn out corks. ...

Quite possibly. But first, you haven't got the throttle cable too tight have you? If that's good then are you sure there's no air leak? If not, the pilot is potentially too small, giving a too lean air/fuel mix. Having said that, you say a 50 pilot is in place! This is unusually large !! The mixture...
