but on compression it must pull or better be pulled easy and on rebound it must pull hard or at least harder.

Yer; but they damp on the rebound don't they? If it's upside down it ought to damp when it compresses. If you see what I mean. no cos the valve can only work the way it was intended no matter whether upside down ...side ways ....under water ...in space ...mars .... :lol: :lol: :lol: you cant moint ...
