Re: Whats the fastest fast flow tap out there?

if you really still want to use a tap, why not use a crosser one? From a CR250 or YZ etc. More than enough flow from them. My YZ runs a 188 main jet, can't see the RB being thirstier than that? and no problems with fuel flow even at full chat.

Re: GUY SWINNERTONS 350 YAM S6 SX STYLE

IT TRULY is a work of art frank well done 8-) but if the guy wants to go fast why no just buy an R1  :?: do people realise the R1 is the cheaper of the two options? My series 6 weighed in eventually at over £9k. easy. I could've picked any of the jap litre bikes for that. But there's only on...

Re: kickstart shaft hitting clutch top plate

i've never had a lambretta yet that didn't have this problem! you can get thinner top plates to help, also you can grind some of the material of the shaft, being careful of course. there are also different types of shaft to try. honestly though, its really really common, although never had it bad en...

Re: Scootrs antidive

pretty much the same idea. the hinge points do tend to loosen off regularly though, so constant adjustment is required.

Re: Scootrs antidive

i've got anti-dive on my series 6, had a shot of a mates non anti-dive double disc set-up recently. Its like night and day. seriously recommend it. i had a wee 'moment' on the way back to smallbrook when at IoW. The bumpy road back to the campsite. Loads of up and down and some off camber. well gave...

Re: weird electrics

does the back light work on key position 2 but not 3?

If so, then had same problem and was told it was a bad batch of indian ignition switches, incorrectly configured (is there any other kind? ;) ).

Got a CASA switch and all was well.

Re: No Wonder Our Heads Are Pickled

I had a few hubs kicking about to choose from for a TS1 build, had one each italian, indian and spanish (bought when they were £40!). Set all three up on a lathe at work and measured 'true' with a run out gauge. The indian one was the roundest, within 3 thou of true. The Italian hub 16 thou out, th...

Re: Small ball end levers

I worked on three lammy headsets recently, and all had one-sided levers. Easy to tell. The wee spring loaded anti-rattle cap faces up on one and down on the other if they are not 'sided'.

Re: ON THE ROAD REPAIR TIPS (VARIOUS)

jeez....some mad repairs here already. Trying as ever to be helpful, I can recommend in the absence of grease, using hair wax in an HT coil to prevent water ingress and shorting out. Try to make sure its not her expensive VO5 one if you want spoken to again soon ;) (A chapstick also works) I've also...
